My wife got our dalmatian on Russia before she moved here, he is now 11 yrs old. This pic is 4 yrs old but he still looks as good, just a little bit slower.

a few weeks ago I ran out of my HRT dose of test and crashed. The dog started getting really weird, not eating for days, whining, humping my leg, getting really antsy and pacing... he never does any of this. I got some test back in my system so I`m a much less cranky and feeling better, but the dog is also back to normal!

My theory is he could smell my test (or lack there of) and felt compelled to take the dominant pack leader role, but was not comfortable doing so. Thoughts? Similar experiences?

Dogs know when something is off. My old lab was acting extremely weird towards my dad the night before he died.. They just know

Well certain dogs can detect Cancer so in theory it is possible that your dog may detect low Test but, even a few weeks without test it is still in your system although at lower levels.

Your dog is gifted with great genetics, hopefully he will have many more Birthdays.
