Help with dogs shedding

I have two labs and I was wondering if there is anything that can help with the shedding besides daily brushing. I have heard of some people putting an egg on their food or putting some olive oil on top of their food. But, I am not sure that works.

Any tips will be appreciated. I am about fed up with all the hair in the house.

Man im def subscribing to this because i have a lab and man he sheds all day all year no matter what!!

I have never heard of anything working to reduce the shedding of labs. Just my two cents from experience.

i know at pesmart they had these dog treats that were supposed to help curve dog shedd, but they were like $15 per bag, but everyone i talked to said they worked well... ill have to find out the name again, i never got them

allthough petsmart has a ton of crap, if i remember these were what actually worked... also the furminator dog brush, worked a ton, but i hate combing my short hair lab, its a PITA!

also something to ponder in the shedding of dogs:
