Pre I would use a little to give sustained relase, so you don't have a rapid spike and drop off. Some people don't have this problem, so they don't add any fats

Agreed. Do you feel f aas is needed for people that ear a real meal rather than malto whey mixtures? Does fruit have a sustained release? I believe most are low gi. I've never been into sugar super fast acting carb craze pre workout.
