Oatmeal Pancakes

Hi Richard,
Yummy looking oatmeal pancakes recipe and thanks for sharing with everyone. I will definitely try oatmeal pancakes as oatmeal is great for health. I have checked and found all the ingredients in stock so will share my comments soon.

Sounds good! I've been eating Metrx pancakes for years. I still like them, but gonna give these a try for something different.

Here's one that's very similar that I tweaked and I think it's very good:

1/2-3/4 of a very ripe banana
1/3 instant oats ground fine (I'm using a coffee bean grinder)
2 eggs
baking powder (some . . . prob tsp or so)
~6-8 pecan halves ground fine-to-medium
vanilla (to taste)
cinnamon (to taste)

Mix everything together (make sure the banana gets mashed well) and cook on a lightly oiled/buttered griddle.

Oops. Forgot one ingredient: 1 tbs of Bisquik, flour, or "standard" pancake mix

This gives it more of a pancake consistency.

Quick and easy to make. I'll make a bunch and refrigerate the leftovers eating them throughout the week as a snack. You can heat them up in a toaster or eat them cold.

You ever try to grind the oatmeal up in a coffee grinder and add pb fit?Makes for some good p-cakes! Top off with cinnamon

It sounds wierd but
1/4-1/2 cup cottage cheese
A little vanilla and maple extract
1 cup of oats
And 1 cup of egg whites

Blend the piss out of them
And they make about the best macro profile I’ve seen for if your dieting or really keeping it clean

The cottage cheese/Greek yogurt makes it WAAAAAY fluffier
They don’t have that rubbery “dry” effect like just oats and eggs/egg whites
Even gets that nice brown appearance like bisquick

I’ve not tried it with Greek yogurt but I would think it would also be similar
Anyone have any experience with that??
