WTF customs sucks

I ordered something from ebay. Completely legal...I ordered some aftermarket car parts, for real, not trying to be funny and use code words. I ordered car parts and they have been sitting in customs for a month. I'm kind of annoyed because even if they opened the boxes up it wouldn't need to sit there that long. I don't even think that there would be room to hide any gear in an aftermarket front headlight assembly. It's not tiny but seriously how long does it need to sit there. If they open the unit up and ruin the halogens by touching them who do I contact? I don't know if I can try and get my money back because of that or if they will take them back and send me new ones.

you know... it really depends on how busy they are. considering the atmosphere, it could take a while. if the headlights are sealed units from the factory or some aftermarket company, it shouldn't be much longer but who knows anymore....

i ordered some dress shirts from london.... thomas pink shirts.... 10 of them.... fairly expensive shirts.... but whatever.... point is.... not many places to hide gear in a dress shirt..... 6 weeks my man... 6 motherfucking weeks the box sat in customs.... you know what the issue was for me.... they wanted a social security number for an importing license application because they thought i was reselling them... problem is... they took 4 weeks to finally contact me about it... then the same day i recieved the letter... i faxed them over a signed form stating they were for personal use and it still took 2 more weeks to show up... 4 days from london to US, 6 weeks from customs to me.... go figure

I've ordered a few car parts from Japan and have had them held up as well. And when you're $3,500 wheels get scratched up, aint jack you can do about it.
