Buddy of mine tore his pec back in 2016. Had it reattached via surgery shortly after. Anyways, he has largely made a full recovery. Previously benched over 400 raw in a meet. Strength is at about the same level now. Small issue though, he often dies shy of lockout on his right (operated on) side. It was suggested that he perhaps stagger his grip to help with the issue. I'm not sure that's the best idea, and seems like a band-aid fix. Video posted below, rep 3 you can see what I'm talking about. Anyways- anyone got any experience with this type of situation / got any suggestion on what he can do to fix it? Thanks.

He's twisting his arm as he lifts and shifting the weight to his shoulder/triceps. I'd focus on rotator work, mobility, and high volume (12-15 rps) DB bench work to accustom the pec to workload requirements.

I wouldn’t stagger anything. Work on triceps triceps triceps triceps

As someone who tore there pec before. I know what your going through. My right side was always hindering me just like it was in your video.
It's most likely that your repaired side is just weaker than the other. Remember tearing a pec is no joke. Try to do some extra work on that side after your bench routine. I did the hammer strength machine where you can isolate that side. I also did some one arm dumbbell work too. I don't believe it has anything to do with your triceps/shoulders, but it wouldn't hurt to do some extra work there too.
