Opening a 24/7 GYM

Hey guys, I am in the works...well planning to open a 24hr gym.

I am having trouble finding the scan tags and automatic door entry systems.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get more information on these types of things.

A local gym gives members keys. Not sure what they do if someone loses one lol. I can call and ask if you'd like.

I have found where I can get the custome scan cards... I have not found where I can get the key-tags and or cards that unlock the door for the 24hr service. Unless the gym you are thinking of has 24hr access.

Oh my bad. You mean an actual KEY. HMMMM thats a possibility. but I would rather have a card that records members coming in to the club at certain times.

You might want to look into Indala cards and readers. That is what a high end gym I belonged to years ago used.

the link above is good but if you can, try to invest in RFID cards. They use radio frequency and validate for through the scanners much like the Golds gyms have etc. The RFIDS (radio frequency) chips are what sense something gets stolen at big stores...but they usually have a lifetime warranty.. i should know, i implemented the technology for a company here in MD. Otherwise, i would check out Alibaba.com for a nice cheap barcode arrangement..

Just install a card key system and give your members a key. The one you see at air ports.

Push button card comes out swipe gate opens, when leaving swipe again.

Install cctv cameras all over the place to avoid stealing...
