Transfering muisc to my apple Iopd

I am very new to apple so I hope my writing is not confusing. If I Download UTorrent and then download music from kickasstorrents will I be able to transfer my music to my apple iopd or is it different because its not a regular MP3 player?

How can I go about transfering flies over to my apple ipod after I get the songs on my computer. If I have and Apple ipod will I have to download Itunes for windows first? Ands if I download Itunes for windows will it work on my apple ipod? I Hope I didnt make this confusing!!!

PS... Or will I be safer just downloading Utorrent from my apple computer, instead of using my windows computer?
