can you posted your full protocole including clom and letro... how long you was on this protocole
I was on my fertility protocol for eleven months total, November 2017 to when we did IVF in October of 2019. Things changed as I went along, depending on how I felt and what I had access to.
I stayed on 200-300mg of test per week the whole time.
I started off with using 25mg Clomid, 25mg Proviron, and HCG in November of 2017.
The amount of HCG amount varied, I started off with a Crisler protocol of 100iu per day and went up to 500iu per day. I never liked how HCG made me feel, it raised my estrogen, gave me some erectile dysfunction and gynecomastia. But it was necessary for fertility. Never liked the Clomid either, all it seemed to do was raise my SHBG. Clomid did not raise my FSH; that never went up until I started using HMG in July. But I didn't have access to pharm HMG in the beginning.
In May my sperm count was up from zero to 4 million, in June it was up to 7 million, but with poor motility.
In July I started working with a fertility doctor who wanted me to use more HCG; up to 3000iu every other day. But that raised my estrogen way too high, gave me anxiety, erectile dysfunction, gynecomastia. When I complained to the fertility doctor that my estrogen was too high, and bloodwork showed it high, he prescribed me Letrozole. But even a quarter tab of that every other day crashed my estrogen down undetectable on lab tests and made me miserable. So I cut out the Letrozole and cut the HCG back down to 500iu every other day, where I felt best.
In July I also added in HMG, which I really feel was the key to progress. Up until then, my FSH and LH had been undetectable on lab tests. But after adding 30iu-60iu of HMG per day, I had good levels of both FSH on my bloodwork.
I stayed on the following up until our IVF procedure in October:
25mg Clomid per day
25mg Proviron per day
200-300mg test per week
500iu HCG every other day
30iu-60iu HMG or FSH every day
At the time of our IVF procedure, my sperm count was at 35 million with much improved fertility. If I remember correctly, my wife produced 23 eggs, of which 20 were viable, of which my sperm fertilized 17 embryos. Only 3 survived past the 5-day blastocyst phase. The first two we had implanted didn't take.
The last embryo became our beautiful little baby girl, who is now 5 months old, happy and healthy and well.
Hope this helps you. Again, if I had to do it all over again, I would have cut out all the extra stuff like Clomid and Proviron, which I feel didn't help much, and I would have just stuck with:
200-300mg test per week
500iu HCG every other day
30iu HMG or FSH every day
Best wishes,
