what happens if I don't aspirate well?

I just did a shot of Test, and didn't aspirate until half way though when I noticed some blood. I immediately removed the needle and reshot through a different location, I guess some went into my blood stream. What will happen with that? I did get all the air out of the needle before I shot though.

I just don't understand why people are not aspirating...

it's just asking for trouble IMO.

The worst outcome is that you localize a blood vessel, and end up puttting a cc or more of oil directly into your bloodstream.
This is then called a fat emboli, and has the potential to cause strokes, and any sort of damage that can occur from blocking a vein or artery.

The real problem is when you inject, immediately aspirate, and then blood comes into the barrel of the syringe. If your aspiration is fine, but you have a little bleeding when you withdraw the needle, that likely means you just clipped a vessel on the way in.

I have never had blood go into the syringe, that is until 3 days ago. Then again the next day. Kinda strange but yea glad I aspirated.

well, I normally aspirate. I only did about 1/3 of a cc by accident until I realized I wasn't doing it right, then I fixed it. I did in my glute. It was completely a mistake... hopefully it wouldn't be bad. Never again!

It's not a big deal.

Veins will collapse before carrying much volume of oil.

Also, veins carry deoxygenated blood, therefore any small air bubbles will merely be absorbed, it would take about a 30cc syringe worth of air into a vein to make trouble.

The whole little air bubble ruckus was a scare tactic to 'save the kids' from heroin.

Believe me, I know a few idiots that have shot AAS intravenously, and they're still around...unfortunately

As a rule of thumb, aspirate every time!

After thousands of glute shots, I've never seen blood when aspirating. Delt and quad, different story.
