I was reading earlier that there is a certain space of time after lifting to take protein and that the muscles will get the most from it at this period of time?
is this true and how long is this period of time?

in my opnion the 30 minutes after your work out is the
time you need to replenish your body protein and bcaas.

I sip on a 40gram RTD while training...and then within 30mins after training, I drink another 40.

the 40gms while I am training is usually light liquid form...nothing heavy like a heavy RTD in a can...I drink the XXL by I think Strength Systems?
