Gas like crazy and a tight stomach?

Hey Guys,

Its been about 3 weeks since have decided to get back into bodybuilding since my 3 year layoff and this week i hae had this problem 2x. Later in the day my stomach really tightens and i get crazy gas...making it hard for me to eat anything after. One of the days i had to leave work i cramped so bad and then proceeded to throw up all over the inside of my car while driving home on the freeway. I subsided the next day.

However, i have it again right now. It is not as bad, but the gas in insane and i am getting small cramps in my belly.

Ciuld it just be that since my diet was shit for the last 3 years and now all of a sudden BAM!!!!!! I am eating healthy and a GOOD quantity more food as well (like 1500cal more a day). Or could there be something wrong. Thanks!

You didn't mention if you take any suplements. Many of them contain lactose, a sugar that lots of people are intolerant at , causing bloating "and other unwanted side efects. I am using "SynthePURE" which is lactose free.
See a doctor anyway, maybe get a gastroscopy

I suspect you are taking in large amounts of poor quality protein which will bloat you and cause uncomfortable gas also known as "farts". The simple remedy, if this is the problem, is to gently relax your sphinctor, pause momentarily to insure there is not a lump ahead of the gas to be discharged, also known as a "fart with a surprise", and release the gas, hopefully accompanied by a loud trumpeting sound. This will result in instant relief and can be repeated throughout the day as need dictates. I like to buy my protein at trueprotein.com. Read the intro to all the different proteins they have then save yourself some time and just buy the whey protein isolate cold filtration. At least that's what I like but you will get 50 different opinions.
