well for starters i searched through all posts trying to use all key words i could think of.. and nothing answers my question..lol...sooo i think i'm the only one with this problem..

i've always had big obliques..and not the good kind...i can't get rid of them.. i'm doing the cardio up to 5x's a week now and been doing it for about two months my meal plan is high in protein low in carbs and i'm not counting fat but i estimate it as very low.. for exercises i usally do either oblique crunches on the slanted bench or hip rotations.... and they don't seem to want to come off..what are the best exercises to get rid of them...or is there something i need to do different?? i'm trying to get the last 20 pounds off of me so i can be a solid 180 small man again... lol

thanks fo the help

Abs (and obliques) are made in the kitchen, not the gym - Anthony Ellis

Without seeing your pic, it's more than likely just BF. For me the VERY LAST PLACE I lose BF is my sides and lower back. I need to get below 6% to really start losing it there!

So, you're training your obliques with weights to get them to go away? Dude, training them with weights will make them bigger! A lot of people have the same problem as you. A lot of men will store a majority of their fat on the suprailliac (myself included). There's not much you can do except lose fat. I have read where the suprailliac tends to be the insulin sight so maybe low carbs would help?
