Very first injection....

Well, I just did it, stepped over to the dark side. When I finished, I noticed a small trail of oil on the side of my glute. Is this normal? Everything else went well. The guage was 20, I did order new ones from sterile syringes. 23 guage I think. The 20 guage didn't hurt going in, but my ass is getting sore as the day progresses....

Tons and tons of advice can be given here. I have been doing what I do for yrs and it works for me.
For oils I use a 20-21 to draw it out of the amp/bottle. For injecting I use a 25. I take the 20g syringes w/the oil in them and soak them in some hot water. I like the water temp wise just right before it's starts to boil. So on my nuker it's around 3:50 sec anyway, take the cup out of the micro, soak the syringes in the hot water for about a good 4-5mn is all. Pull one out, take the 20g tip off and screw on a 25. I promise you the oil will pass through no prob. It will be slow but it will flow fine. Less scar tissue in the end my friend...

Damn---20G for injection. I bet that will be sore....I have some oil come out/trail when I inject at times as well. No worries there. But, definitely change to a small gauge needle--23 is better than 20, but I like 25 as well. Good luck...

Thanks for the advice, guys. At this point I can DEFINATLEY say I WONT use a pin that big again. It hurts standing and sitting. Its not excrutiating pain, but more like a bad bruise. I feel like I got kicked in the ass real hard. Oh well, I cant say I wasn't warned. I appreciate your advice, though.

Blahh... I've used an 18g cannon on several occasions and some oil at the site is perfectly normal. Even with the 23g's it's perfectly normal which is what I normally use.

my first cycle i used sust redi's. i was told not to use the 20g it came with but switch to an 18g because it will inject faster.........rrrriiiggghhhttt!!! big mistake. i've got such nasty scar tissue in my side delts i dont think they'll ever grow again. (unfortunately im not joking.LOL)

yeah, it hurt really bad...i was so suprised because i knew there was a kind of test you had to shoot everyday and i was bewildered that guys could actually do that everyday. it's kind of funny though...when i first tried to do it myself i kept looking at that harpoon and telling myself i could do it. i had metallica "enter sandman" playing over and over in my headphones while i was leaning against the bathroom counter trying to psyche myself up.LOL i pussed out and had a buddy do it for me twice a week for 10 weeks. now i only use a 25g 1", thank god.
