tanning products

so i was looking through nutri-vet's(bio-labs) product list and came along this:
MELADININA (OXSORELEN GENERIC TANNING PILLS).

my ginger ass really wouldn't mind a little melanin, anyone used these before? i live in the caribbean, the sun is BLISTERINGLY hot, so it's gonna be tough to use them correctly... suggestions?

feedback on bio-labs much appreciated, too!

You live in the caribean and you want info on a tanning pill? That's like giving an eskimo some ice cubes!

haha, i know! i don't have much time to tan with school (and i really hate the wasted time spent doing it anyways), so i'd really like to accelerate the process. i'm pretty darned white, but don't burn NEARLY as easily as i should given my complexion. the sun here is ABSOLUTLY brutal tho, so i really don't wanna take a dose, then go out in the sun for an hour, smell bacon burning, then have to call the fire department to put my skin out ;-)

anyone got advice on how to use tanning pills? do you just take them a couple hours prior to tanning, then hit it for 30-60 mins (natural light), and repeat every day for a week?

Oxsoralen stimulates melanocytes, which produce melanin, the pigmanet that colors skin.

It is used frequently for vitilago, which is a condition where the skin loses pigment or has patches that lack pigment. This is what Michael Jackson claims has turned him white (I have my doubts as to his claim).

Yuo can use this to help tanning, but start slowly. In the Caribbean, start with no more than TEN minutes total exposure 60-90 minutes after taking Oxsoralen (assuming 10 mg tabs). Yuo will be sensitive to UV rays for 24 hours, so DON'T tan the next day, and avoid exposure to UV (sunlight) after your ten minutes of tanning for the next 24 hours.

The trick is to not get burned - if you feel uncomfortable after, say, 7 minutes, cut your sun exposure short, and see what the result is. Yuo can tan using Oxoralen once every 3 days or so, no more than 3 times weekly, and twice weekly would be safer.
