Cardio AM or PM?

Whens the best time to do cardio first thing in the morning? or after a workout?
 
In the morning is the best, but can be hard to do. If you cant do it then after workout is good also. The main thing is doing it in general.
 
I agree with healthfreak....I was trained in the service to always do it in the morning before your first meal.

But the bottom line is just do it regularly. The time of day isn't going to make that much of a difference in the long run.

I do mine in the morning and that has worked best for me. At night, I seem to be too tired to get into it and I dont put enough effort in. In the morning, I seem to be ready and awake--but, thats me. I arrive at the gym at 0500 and get my stuff done and this has worked well for me for a while.

Tough to say which one is better because we all work different schedules, etc. Try em both and see which one works better for you. Good luck.

i do it first thing am all year, if training for a show i will add some in postwork if needed
 
I'm a morning person as well for cardio, unless I'm prepping for a contest then I end up adding in some additional cardio.
I don't do any cardio on a leg day though, or on a day I'm going to deadlift.

you will burn more fat on an empty stomach

in the morning.. do it prior to doing your daily tasks....
