I'm sure you guys are tired of questions like this, but I have to ask. I've been doing a lot of research for a while (about 9 mos.) on AAS and have learned quite a bit. I am planning to start my first cycle. I was originally just going to try 300mg/wk of EQ for 6-8 weeks depending on the gains, sides, etc. However, I have friend who has some supertest that he doesn't want and thought that I may get 5ml and cut the dosages of both, especially since test should be a base anyway. With the ST @ 450mg/ml, I was looking at .5cc added to 1cc of the EQ at 200mg/ml (eco oils) for a total of 425mg/wk. In hindsight, I'm thinking this may be a little heavy for my first run. Should I cut the EQ back or would it just be a waste of gear and time at that point? I've spent days, now, reading and researching and can't really find anything that answers my direct questions so I joined the board and decided to ask. My cousin has run several cycles, but in discussing with him, I don't consider him to be altogether that knowledgable. I believe him just to be lucky to this point. I was considering, at one time, up to a 12 week run (EQ for 12 and test for 10), but he suggested no longer than 6 weeks. He also doesn't run a PCT, which I believe to be stupid altogether. I have planned a nolva only PCT for the shorter cycles (std. 40,30,20) and a nolva/clomid combo for the longer option (and possibly HCG). What to do, what to do.... Long, short, heavy, light- what is your opinion? At this point, I am wondering if I'm just overthinking the situation. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Run 300mg -500mg of Test E. ot Test C, for 10-12/wks. That is PLENTY, it will give you a chance to see how your body reacts to gear and it is all you need. You will not gain any more mass than if you took twice that. Also, this is EVEN more important.....make sure you have a good, clean diet. High in protein like eggs, milk, powder, red meat, poultry, fish, moderate complex carbs like brown rice, yams and lots of fruit and veggies with a cutoff at 6pm and lots of good fats like Natty PB, EVOO, eggs.

Put that altogether and you should be on the right track. I would shoot for 20cals per pound (3800cal) and see how that goes. If you don't gain weight at that amount then try 25cals per pound (4750cals). A nutrient breakdown of 40-40-20 or 30-40-30 should be good. Hope this helps as this is just guidelines.
 
thanks, zuke. I've got the diet down pretty good as I mostly only eat (not including supps) meat with veggies, fruits, and grains mixed here and there (has always been that way since I was young). And I do love to just go and get a tbsp full of PB! As for the 6 p.m. cutoff, that's no good. I work swing shift so I have to watch my eat times and rest very closely. And obviously my workout times vary as well. They are regular, but change from week to week as far as what days and morning or evening. Speaking of work, I think I'll go to bed now since I have to be back at 7 p.m. for another 12 hour run.....
