I just injected 1cc of supertest. I withdrew the test fron the bottle using an 18 gauge needle. I then switched to a 23 gauge needle for the injection. However, I forgot to push up a little test to get all the air out. AM I in trouble? is there anything i can do? I injected in my glutes.

This is probobly a stupid question, and has been answered on here, but what would happen if you did inject into a vein?

injecting air into a vein is very serius. im no doctor and i would hate to missinform someone. but from what i have been told for many years its going to be a painfull death. its an air embolism and ive read of tortur by this method. never the less death is the end result.

it can be very serious, as the air if injected into you vein can travel to the heart in the event that it is enough air, and can cause your heart to burst in some cases, but the odds of that arent very high, but need less to say you will die eventually and it will not be fun as stated above. if your a going in your glute you also have to be careful not to hit the siatic nerve as you can temporarily paralyse yourself anywhere from a few mins to a few hours. anytime injecting make sure to pull the plunger back to make sure your not in a vein, its ok to pass thru a vessel but not inject in it.. also there are no dumb questions, no one knows everything. what might be dumb to some may not be to others

The amount of air isn't the real problem it would be what is in the air that would cause the issue. 1cc of CO2 could really fuck you up in a heart beat in your blood system.

As usual though Big A is on the money unless you inject around 3cc's you will be fine.

Next time just be smart and follow all the normal steps to execute the injection properly.

I'm good. thanks for asking. Won't ever happen again. The more I thought about it I realized that the air if any was minuscule. no matter will follow proper protocol from now on.
