Sustamed 250 injecting question

i recieved Sustamed 250 by BD from Alin but wanted to know how to properly inject with out contaminating the vial. There is a removable rubber stopper instead of an injectable sterile lid. Is the exposer of the solution to the open air an infection issue.

I personaly, don't prefer that type of container as there "can" be an increased risk of contamination. HOWEVER, it is extremely difficult for bacteria to survive in oil and I know that BD uses a pretty fair amount of B.A. in their solutions as to also help reduce the risk of contamination.

If you're just reasonably careful you shouldn't run any real risk of any type of infection. Only put clean needles in the bottles etc. DO NOT REUSE needles. You should be able to pretty much open the bottle up and use it whenever you need it without any concern of contaminating it. In other words as long as you don't act like Pigpen you probably won't ever have any problems.

This actually reminds me of an old source from the late 90's early 2000's named Trenfactor who used to ship his stuff in Shampoo bottles, gun oil bottles. Lol.. ANd I never once heard of anyone getting an infection from his gear. (It was quality stuff too!)

Alcohol swab the vial before inserting the needle (the same as swabbing the injection spot prior to injecting).........

I think kawasaki is right. The stopper stays in and you go through it and draw out and then inject with a different pin.

I don't know.. because he never did specify what kind of stopper it was. if it is a standard rubber stopper. No needle will go through them.

And unless it is a self sealing rubber stopper (used in vials intended for multiple injections) The bottle will leak horribly.

Perhaps he can post a picture of what he is talking about.

Hi guys,
Im new to this and i was wondering where is the best spot for injection and how far to inject the needle into the skin. I have a 10 ml bottle of sustamed from Balkin. Ive injected it before in my upper arm/shoulder and it got very red and sore. I used a 1 inch needle and went in all the way. Did i go to far? and what could i expect to gain off one cycle of 1ml a week? My diet is good with low fat, lots of carbs and protein. Age--25--6'--170lbs.
