cycle times..

i have been reading and looking around on this board for awhile and am impressed with all of guys on here. i have done 4 cycles in the last 3 years. roughly 1 per year." one was shortened because of an injury.." i have gained alot of muscle size with these and proper lifting. i started at 190lbs and i now weigh 228 as of this am. i am wanting to really develop more and get bigger as i am 6'1 in height. i have read that with aas, it is time off = time on .... would this be a good recomendation to do for me ? i have just finished a 12 week cycle and am looking to go back on in 14 if bloodwork is right. then do a 10 week cycle, off for 12, then back on for 14 .. i guess i am just asking in a long form, is this the proper way to do the cycles or do you guys use a different means of cycling. thanks.
 
My advice would be to do short cycles (8 weeks or less) and to have twice the time off that yuo do on.

Yuor body will be disrupted less (less HPT axis suppression), you'll recover faster, and over the long run, as in two years or more, will make good gains AND retain them better.

Retaining yuor gains mostly has to do with PCT and not suppressing the hell out of your HPT axis.
 
thanks for the reply. the cycles i have done are mostly longer cylces. very simple ones at that. the last one i just finished was test e 500 deca 300 with dbol to start for 4 weeks and winstrol tabs at the end. how would an 8 week cylce look as far as dosages. i can honestly say i have been able to keep most of the gains i have made, but i am really looking to one day get to the point of competing.
 
Simple cycles are a great idea. Lots of fancy stacking generally doesn't have much added benefit - everyone is looking for that "Holy Grail" stack, and there is no such thing.

Learn all yuo can about various approaches to PCT. Do a Search here, there's lots of info!
 
hey thanks for all of the advice.. it is all taken in for sure.. i will do the search on the pct. where i live i am one of the very few around here that gets into the bodybuilding scheme, so there is little advice, or either very few to even talk to about any of this subject matter.. the few that do are very misinformed to say the least and do not take safety into account.. i honestly would love to work with an experienced person to get more tuned in ... i do try and learn on these boards as much as posible and have honestly put on some serious muscle in 3 years time, but i am not even close to being satisfied..thanks for your help.
