Injection pain question

If I took a shot (1cc) of Omnadren in the shoulder, would it be unusual to have zero pain during the injection and then get pretty darn sore the next day? How long does it normally last? I assume everything is ok as long as there is no redness or swelling??? I was just wondering if this was common.

Yes it's common. You will be fine if no redness, fever, and swelling. Use the search feature to find more info on this. There are tons of threads about injections, what hurts, and what doesn't. Good Luck.

I saw alot of posts about pain from injections. I just never saw that anyone specifically said that it was completely painless at the time of injection and didnt hurt until the next day. I never felt a thing from the injection. I had read about having a hot shower first and using heat. If the heat that I used helped alot then I wouldnt want to see what it feels like without it!! It was slightly nagging yesterday (the day after) but when I went to bed it was pretty darn bad. There was no way I could sleep on that side. I was a little surprised. If someone would have punched me in the arm it would have been worse then a sharp kick in the nuts! It still feels bruised (2 days after shot), but its not as bad. I still pray that no ones gives me a good slap on the shoulder.

Yep, pretty normal. Omna, Sust, they all feel like someone has given you a good hit on the shoulder or a kick in the ass. You'll be fine!
