I have heard people say that with a higher bf % you are more prone to gyno while on a cycle, is this true?
If so at what % would it be ok to do a cycle without being more prone to gyno.

Generally speaking, it is true that with a higher bf (over 15%) your risk of gyno is higher. Cycles at 12% or less are most effective IMO.

Of course, these are generalizations, and there are many more factors in being prone to gyno than just body fat. I dont have the time to go into it in detail, however if you use the seach button you will find plenty of realted threads and advice.
 
Now that I think about it, I have had that experience. It seems that whenever I am bulking (14% max) my gyno looks noticeably worse. When I am down at about 8-10% you can't really tell that I have it. So I'm not sure that having bodyfat increases your chance, or if it just makes it look worse. Either way I always take an AI now, just cuz I'm so prone.
 
I developed a slight case when I went through puberty so I am guessing I am probably pretty prone to it.
I have notice to that at low bf% it looks alot better but it is still there. I have heard that letrozole will sometimes reverse it It just seems really hard to find
