recovery problems with dc training

hey i just started dc and im having trouble recovering. for the past 2 yrs ive been pretty much training like big a, and i wasnt sore ever. but now if i work out monday, when wednesday rolls around im still extremely sore. ive never had recovery problems before exept one time i didnt take any time off for 6 months. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i feel like im doing alot more with this type of training but it will do me no good if i can only train twice a week....thanks
 
Maybe you cant handle the r/p sets and should try just strait sets. It may take time to be able to handle the rest pause sets. Hows your diet, are you eating enough

If you're still sore on Wed. from a Mon. workout, its not a biggie, really, b/c you wouldn't be training the same muscles / muscle groups until FRIDAY of that week (on the 2 way split).

Here is the problem as i see. I am a powerlifter and what I usally have to say falls on def ears. If you are so sore from doing 1 set, do you see something wrong? I do. Chances are you GPP (General physical prepardness) is way to low. What I would do. Train full body for 2 months (not to failure). On days off, find ways to increase your work load

Rope jumping
Bike riding

I hit most bodypart 3 times a week with an average of 8 work sets. Never sore.

Big problem in the gym. People just not in shape to handle any kind of work load. Just an idea.:D
 
well im a heavy equipment mechanic. so on days off im stiil lifting heavy ass loads so i think i just need to not do 4 warm up sets like i was.....it seems to be working as of a week ago...but thanks very much for ur reply jimbo
