Cut before growing?

Hey guys just have a little question for whoever would like to share their knowledge...

I have recently been doing a routine/diet to promote growth. In fact, I have been lifting with the routine posted in Big A's article about Growth Principles. I've been doing it for a couple weeks now (without gear) and I like it so far. Been eating good, using some creatine, glutamine, some multi-vitamins and getting lots of protein.. But I think that maybe i'm starting this growing phase at a bad time.

Lets say my BF is around 20-22 and i'm trying to gain muscle... My question is, would it be more beneficial to cut down to lets say 12-15% BEFORE I try to make my muscle gains? (I'm going to be ordering some of the wonderful ECA Tyrone offers very soon, with ORIGINAL intentions of using it AFTER I do the HIT program for a little bit. But now I'm thinking maybe cut down BEFORE, then try my luck at making muscle gains? And then possibly back to cutting down whatever fat I gain from that?)

If you get your diet in check you can make gains whilst cutting bodyfat, theres no need to cut fat then bulk up then cut fat again.
Im sure if you posted your food intake you could get some worthwhile feedback or better still think about hiring one of the trainers on this board.

^^^ I agree. Only you can determine what you look like. You should probably start doing low intensity cardio three times a week and get your diet in check.
 
If you're taking AAS that aromatizes (e.g. test. or deca), the more fat you have, the more test or deca will be turned into estrogen. So it's best to cut down if you're going to use "bulking" gear.
