I joined yet another group of social deviants about 6 weeks ago.

Here's my stats as of this morning:

age 25
height 6'0
weight 198 lbs
body fat - i have to order some calipers cuz right now I have no idea

i have worked out off and on since early high school, but I have been consistently going for about 2.5 years now. Started out at 150 lbs (I have the skinny ankles and wrists to prove it!) and hit the proverbially wall last spring at around 190 lbs.

Here's my cycle

weeks 1-4 20mg dbol ed
weeks 4-6 30mg dbol ed
weeks 4-12 125mg Sust250 eod

thought i would do the dbol only to see how i felt, then add in the Test later. I could separate my reaction to each that way and stretch my cycle to 16 weeks, which should help me adjust to the weight a bit better. I thought it made perfect sense. Some of you might tell its the stupidest thing you've ever heard, in which case, I likely won't do it again.

and i know sust250 has kinda fallen out of favour with some, but beggars cannot be choosers.

... and my laptop just ran out of power while i was on the can. hate when that happens ...

my diet is tight. not too concerned about fat, just eating as much as I can, which is a lot. i am in the 4,500 cal range at present. and around 1.5g/lb of protein and plenty of carbs.

so far I have to say aas comes as advertised. i blew away all my personal bests this past week. i have lots of energy in the gym and probably my favorite benefit is that I can still function properly out of the gym. back in my honest days, I would be too drained to focus on other tasks.

first needle was a gong show. i have a much better handle on it now. sides haven't been too bad ... i feel like i have blue balls at parts during the day, i get a little bit of bruising around the injection site (am I moving the needle around too much when its in my ass?), and my stomach has bothered me from time to time. i don't know if its just the volume of food or the dbols.

i have lots and lots of questions and ill use this thread to ask most of em.

test aides in recovery. am I ok to shorten my splits a bit while im on? I usually take 7, sometimes 8, days to rest each muscle group. recovery is usually a big issue for me. if i haven't been paying attention i'll notice i am getting pretty overtrained when i start forgetting shit at the gym or zone out when someone is taking to me.

is working the muscle more in a shorter peroid a more effective approach on a cycle... or resting the same amount as you normally would? normal being a relative term.

this thread is getting way too long so ill save more for later. if you are still reading this mess, thanks for all your time and attention! lol

week 1 100mg clomid
week 2-4 50 mg clomid

of course now i am reading this thread in the main forum that pct is garbage. will everyone make up their f***** mind please! lol
 
well since you already started this cycle ill save the speech. it was totally the wrong way to go..a better choice would have been 250mg/week test e for 16 weeks. that and a ton of food and you would have been good to go.

Why won't he be good to go with proposed cycle and tons of food? Looks like a decent first cycle to me. I like the fact that he is testing dbol first seperately to see his reactions first before adding the sus. I take it you're not a fan of sus?

IMO, sust is a terrible choice for a first cycle.....is contains t prop and you inject it EOD (if you want to be a bodybuilder). Dealing with short and long esters is not a newbie dream. Its also a lot of jabs for a first cycle. And why only 8 weeks? Dbol shouldnt be ran alone either...20mg to 30mg..it all seems kinda whack.

Run Test E only until you plateau and keep it simple. If your diet is worth anything, your gains will be great.

This cycle is whacked. Why are you gonna do sust 250 EOD? If your gonna do EOD you might as well do Test Prop you would get better results. If you stick with this cycle do it like this:

Week 1-6 D-Bol 30 mg ED (I would do 50 mg ED but for a first cycle this should be ok.)
Week 1-12 Sust 250 2x a week

Total D-Bol for a week: 210 mg
Total Sust 250 a week: 500 mg

Other than that the sust can be shot 2xwk and give incredibly stable plasma test levels, look at any comparison release charts for sust and test e, you'll see that sust is more stable over a longer period than a single long ester.
So in fact sust at 1xwk is as stable as test e E5D.

Your logic is flawed for bodybuilding.

Sust is designed for old men and those in need for HTR and have no choice but to inject. It is not a bodybuilder's test by any stretch. The multi long esters take too much room away from the test and you get real-world-mass-building-results from Prop when you inject it EOD if not ED. Why are stable plasma levels of any signifigance? So you dont get acne? If youre trying to gain mass why would you inject a multi blended ester only once a week? You want to inject your test frequently to get levels up fast to support gains. Sust is not designed for bodybuilders. You just do not inject Prop 1x a week.

with a single compound and a longer ester it will be easier to control blood levels and monitor sides. it will also be easier to to come off of for the first time. trust me on this one. if he was to use multiple compounds id suggest 4 weeks of d-bol with test e @250mg/week
 
I appreciate the input, and I knew I was gonna open a can of worms with sust, but everyone telling me I should be on e/prop/whatever is wasting their breathe a bit. I was trying to get test e. all i could get was sust. like I said, beggars can't be choosers. its not perfect, but im gonna stick it out.

Is it true that at this low a dose you can shoot 2 twice a week? Seems to me if you would inject prop eod, you should inject sust eod.

and as far as running d-bol alone, what's wrong with it?

If you start d-bol and test e at the same time, aren't you technically running the dbol alone for 2 or 3 weeks until enough test is released to notice it?

I realize its a little bit of a different approach, but it makes perfect sense to me, and I haven't heard a particularly convincing argument to the contrary.

in other news, i found out today that the stomach pain i was having is probably an ulcer. it hurts like a bee whenever i eat, but i am going to try my best to keep the diet up. Might take a couple of days at lower calories to heal up a bit and go hard again. and i'm gonna stop taking the dbol a bit earlier than i planned. i doubt dbol was the cause, but i don't want to aggravate it. i'll use what i have left at the end of the cycle to get a little kick before i come off.

didn't have a bad workout today though. tough to concentrate with a bunch of garbage swooshing around in your intestine, but it was still fairly good.

anyone have an opinion on recovery? better to keep the same rest in my workout or better to shorten up the splits?

You run the D-Bol to kick start your cycle so by the time your Sust kicks in it will help maintain your gains. Sust has four different esters to help release it at a slower rate an keep your test levels at the same peak level during your cycle. You will only need to use sust 2x a week. If your set on injecting yourself EOD with the Sust go right ahead its up to you.
While your on this cycle make sure your workouts are more intense an that you consume lots of calories. (Healthy Calories).
