Cheat meals when dieting........

So I've been making really good progress dieting. I'm down to around 10.3%BF. I was just curious as to how often you guys have a cheat meal when you're dieting? I mean, could one little(maybe large) cheat meal every two weeks really be that detrimental? I've been eating spot-on for five weeks! Plus that time of year is coming around!! :) -StOrY
 
I would have to say that is you have been dieting hard; one cheat meal is not bad. The only problem I have had is when I start to justify increasing the frequency.

Remember, it all comes down to caloretic intake. One large meal won't do much damage in the big picture, but if you start to add those up, they can slow down your progress.

Thanksgivings for me are great. The only thing I do for this cheat meal is pick and choose wisely and keep my portion size within a reasonable moderation.

You have to live a little right?
 
OK at this stage I would go hard on the diet until thanksgiving and then on the day cut loose. it is not that far off. Your body will be ready for it by then. I would go every 6 weeks but that's just me. I am a bit more stubborn when it comes down to dieting.
