first off let me just say that if anyone has anything i missed in this thread go right ahead and add it in. these are things that i think everyone needs to think about before taking the plundge.

no matter what steroid you take or how long or short of a cycle you do, reguardless of the doseage, your going to get shut down. your going to kill your natural testosterone production. one you do that how will you deal with it?

Why do you want to use steroids in the first place? is it just to get big to get girls? are you trying to take your ability to compete to a new level? think about this one. Alot! you are going to change the natural level of chemicals in your body, you are messing with nature, make no mistake, as safe as we say they are they are still a drug, there is no such thing as a safe drug.

did you really put in the years of work? or are the steroids just a short cut?

do you know how to diet...i mean really really know about nutrition?

do you know how to train? i mean really train for maximum results? honestly if you did you might not need the steroids. same goes for diet.

do you understand the compounds your putting in you body? can you explain how they work? how their half life works? weather or not receptor downregulation occours?(if you dont know what the last one means your definately not ready). you need to be more familiar with each of these compounds and how the work than you are with your own hand.

what happens if a side effect rears its ugly head? what will you do about it? you shouldnt need to come on here and ask what you need to get because your growing tits. you should already know hot to prevent and treat that?

what about the psychological addiction that may arise? are you ready to deal with that? or what it feels like when you come off? ill tell you from experience that part sucks. coming off is the worst feeling.

do you know how to maximize your retention of gains post cycle? if you dont it was undue stress on your body and your wallet.

just stuff to be honest with yourself about.
 
I would only echo the diet part.

I thought I new about diet and how to control my own body through food. But until I competed naturally a couple of times, I didn't. I beleive that until you've cut way down for a show and then bulked up, you can't know.

On sunday night, I know exactly, precisely, every sinlge bit of food I will place in my body for the coming week. NOt only do I know what it is and why I'm eating it, I already have it prepared, individually wrapped and frozen.

Guess what, I still managed to Phuck up my recent bulk and gain too much fat. I cannot imagine how that would have gone had I tossed AAS into the mix.

Just my food for thought.
