blood on aspirating.

i was injecting into my left quad. 3 cc of oil. checked before injecting no blood.. checked midway no blood.. Checked when done injecting.. Blood came in the syringe. Was bright red so i m guessing arterial blood. should i be worried?

I think you would have realized pretty quickly if you should be worried.. Something like that can happen when the needle moves around when you're injecting, that's why it's important to try and keep it as totally stationary as possible. And this is another reason why I've never done a quad injection - more of a chance of hitting a vessel.

It happens now and then, a little blood in their afterward, as long as it's not gushing no worries.

I've experienced blood post injection but that doesn't mean I've hit an artery. No worries as long as your aspirate and aren't jacking on the syringe while injecting. You may have hit a small vein/vessel on the way down (passed through a small one or something)....that'll cause some leakage. Not a big deal.

I've read that if you inject OIL into an artery/vein, you WILL know fast. Technically speaking, this is known as a bad thing.
