anyone else bake the dvd in the oven and know for a fact it didnt harm the hormone?

Baking at 250 F. or so for a short time should not harm the hormone. At least that's what a chemist friend told me. To me it seems like it would depend on what hormone though. Some hormones don't melt until like 300 degree F. Others melt at room temperature. But baking won't remove foreign bodies. Even if it all becomes sterile by heat, you still don't want some foreign body lodged inside your muscle tissue. It can cause it to permanently fester until you do surgery to remove it. I would just use a three dollar syringe filter and re-filter/sterilize it.
