Right now i do

thurs = chest/calves
fri = back/shoulders
sat = legs
sun = arms/ or ill do shoulders on this day instead


and mon-wed off

Would it be a good idea to add in a day like on tuesday where i do core and abs stuff?


i do deadlifts every other week and squats.
 
i think plenty of full body exercises work the core quite well so i dont always bother with core exercises
 
I tend to hit abs with legs...and then twice a week...I pick a stability (iso hold like the plank and side plank) a saggital flexion and a transverse rotation...

I vary the sets, reps and weight...
 
my core get taxed pretty hard in the squat rack, when i finish ill do some legs lifts with a 20lb db
 
abs are no work at all if you are in shape...3-4 times/week for me nothing too extreme 6-8 sets of 50...various movements i mix them up as much as i can...Alex
 
Hanging leg raises, Bicycle Crunch, and Weighted Crunch 2 times per week. Not a whole lot with total sets, maybe 2 sets for 15-20 reps and done. Takes me like 5 minutes 2 times a week to do them.
