pinning questions

I need to re order, and need more alcohol swabs, as well needles and syringes. Was thinking about going to 1/2" 27g for quad test shots, and can also use those for GH SC. 1st question is 1/2" ok for quad, little to no fat to go through. 2nd question is there a better brand of needle to be using. 3rd one is is there a company where i can order all the above, as well as some aromosin, sterile syringes only sells needles and syringes, and i need the alcohol pads and aromosin...

Gator, the only thing I can help you with is that you need atleast 1" needle for quads, gotta go deep into the muscle. The company I go with just carries the standard stuff...vials, syringes, gloves etc. sorry

I don't recall seeing anyplace recently that sells both research chems and syringes. There are plenty who sell syringes + wipes though.

I have to go with Stump here. 1" is recommended. like he said deep into he muscle and the quad is a big muscle. if u can find a 27 g in 1" u should be fine. the only prob would be it would be a lengthly inject cuz the oil has to pass through a small gauge. most use 25's and lower for oil pinning. then again i had used a insulin needle to inject deca into my delt(ran out of pins). didnt hurt, nothing went wrong, and i know a lot who did this. just took forever to inject

2nd I always recommend BD precision glide needle/syringe. smooth pins all the time. the only ones i will ever use.

3rd. havnt heard of a site that sells research chems and syringes myself.

I use 23 ga 1.5 inch for glutes.

IMO you need at least 1.25 inch. I dont bury the 1.5 pin, and I would think with a one inch pin for a glute shot you would have to bury it fully, plus some.

I used 25 ga when I was out of 23, and the inject took forever. I also read once where the exit pressure of the oils through a smaller gauge pin actually is higher (think thumb over the end of a garden hose) and causes more scar tissue. Not sure if thats 100% true but it makes sense. I suppose if you decreased pressure on the plunger then this would not be an issue, although now your shot will take much longer.

Go with 23 ga, 1.5".

I buy them online from a place in clearwater. regular mail shipping ends up being overnite, and their prices are better than walgreens

I usually get the 23g or 25 1.5 for , If I remember correctly about $.50 each .
I usually get 25 so I don't have to go back soon.

Naps carries everything other than the alcohol pads. I just use cotton balls and rubbing alcohol anyways.
