Do I need to pin myself again?

I did my first injection tonight in my glute and I think I pinned a little low. I did just barley make it into the upper right quadrant of my butt although I am not sure how specific you have to be. At the injection site I am already starting to get sore but I know that is normal. No redness, swelling, or lumps as of now.

I attached a picture to help you get an idea of where I pinned. I think it might be a little more towards the middle/lower than the picture indicates.

I don't think this is a problem but I just wanted to ask. Thanks for your help.

No need to pin again. You will get full absorbtion, no problem.

I've seen nurses give IM shots below that and I just look like "WTF that isn't how you do it!" but as a student....shhhh
