So proud of her, she was 8 for 8 yesterday at the Olympia Expo, she benched a 281 RAW and pulled a 523, she broke her own record of 507 and set a new world record !!!!! 300 & 550 next time. She definitely had more with the bench, the deadlift wasn't a struggle, maybe a 530 or so ?? She's pulled 534 in comp. before

Clay curious what she uses the trap bar as accessory for? Is it for her dead or her squat or for what specific reason. Just wondering if I should add them back In.

Several reasons, first it allows her to get her hips and legs way more in the movement. Secondly it allows her to overload and feel heavier weight that she wouldn't be able to pull with a barbell, example she pulls 495 for 3 with the barbell, with the trap bar she pulls 495 for 5. Third there's different muscles that activate when pulling with the trap bar and your only as strong as your weakest link. I'm a huge believer in overloading !!!
