Rich Dad Coaching Program

I'm really looking to take a new career path here and I recently visited the Rich Dad website and took a look at the Coaching Program they offer:

I talked to the guy about it and basically what they do is have a personal finance coach contact you weekly to help you set up a solid business or investment plan and teach you about making money for either 6 months or a year (depending on which program you choose). Their goal is to have you see real results in that time frame. My understanding is that the coach won't give you specifics of what to invest in but he'll teach you what to look for. Now to become involved in this program the cost is $3500 US for 6 months or $4400 US for one year.

I'm interested to hear some of your guys opinions on this, do you think it would be worth it??

Robert Kiyosaki has written some excellent books, Rich Dad poor Dad, and Cashflow Quandrant are 2 of the many he has written and are well worth the read, they certainly taught me how to manage my money and the importance of having mutiple streams of income, but i personally wouldn't pay that much money for a "Coach", i would just go and buy the books and do some good old fashioned reading.

I agree. Read the Rich Dad books along with other books on the subject. Learning what to look for really isn't that hard. I'm also pretty sure that if you keep your eyes and ears open you'll be able to find someone successful around you who can help guide you.

The books are okay and get you motivated but i have not heard good things about teh coahcing, iw ould try and find someone who you knwo is rich and ask them for their advcie most of teh time they will gladly help someone who is genuinely interested in doing something about their own financial situation much as many of us will help out someone genuine intereste din changing their bodies.

ive taken his courses..save your money..recommend tony robbins..Robert Kiosoki has a bunch of used car salesman working for him unfortun..he is good..but info is imaginative..and yes i am an investor

Save your money. Please read his books however. The training they give provides very little advice that you cannot get at the bookstore for $19.95. Especially his real estate related advice. I have bought and sold hundreds of houses and have never taken a course. In my opinion it would be a bad utilization of funds that leaves you ill prepared to take action in your local market. His other info in his books about multiple streams of income has literally changed some of my friends lives and how they look at business.
