how to find investors?

I have several good business ideas, but i dont have enough money to start them up... im 22... and to save up will take toooo long.

so what is the best to do?
go to the bank, or find investors?
if im going to the bank it will be a looong process...

so im going to try to find some rich guys to invest in my businesses.

How should i do it, should i just try get a hold of a rich guy and present my idea...
and what if he likes it and then just steal it and fucks me over... is that a risk i have to take?

I guess you are doing right by asking questions. But there is better places to ask these questions than here. There are in fact business boards or start up business boards out there that you could join and ask these same questions and get very good answers as well as possibly some people who are willing to invest in the ideas you might have.

The people you are looking for are Venture Capitolists or Angel investors with this type of investment you are looking at a higher interest rate than with a bank but more often than not you can get more money from this type of investor. You can also go the route you spoke of talking to a rich guy and having him back you by you personally presenting the idea to him. The goal is to get the money you need at the lowest cost to you.

To get someone to give you money takes work and a good bit of people skills. It is going to take time to do so but is something that can easily be done.

Do a search on google for Angel investors or venture capitolists and I am sure you will get some websites that give you some info on where you can locate them as well as maybe some sites with them advertising what they want to invest in.

Bottom line is there is plenty of people with money who want to make more and if you have an idea that is worth a shit someone will back you with some sort of price.
