supplement companies raws

i was wondering how the supplement companies go about getting there raw materials to manufacture there products?...like creatine esters,proteins ,pro-hormones,fat burners and what not??...i imagine china like the pharma raws but since these are legal i would think they are easier to find?..anyone know where?

Actually, there are a lot of supplement manufacturers here in the U.S. as well. China can hook you up, I'm sure. Just google something such as "contract supplement manufacturers". Or go to made-in-china.com

You have to check out the people you are working with, just like any other business.

I found a few USA manufacturers last summer when I was thinking about starting my own supplement line. But once I called the company and talked to them about how much creatine ethyl ester I'd have to buy to get the wholesale rate ( can you believe the minimum order was 1 ton! ) I figured its best to leave that to the RICH companies that are already in the biz.

I was thinking more like a 5 gallon bucket full, maybe even a 55 gallon drum full, but a ton, a freekin ton!?!?! lol

this is what youre going to run into. they are not going to want to mess with small quantities, its not worth their time. A relative of mine is a chemist and used to work for one of the US companies Its funny, he told me how they made powders for a wide range of clients.They would sell to some companies that sold product at low prices. He told me how they would sell that same powder to other companies and those companies would then slap their label on it and sell it for almost 2x the price. SO you dont always get what you pay for! If you search the net you will find some good companies that sell "bulk" stuff as small as 1kg. Nutrabulk is one ive used.
