Does anyone have experience with these online Credit Repair companies,Credit Repair Software? I recently finished a Debt Settlement program and need to take the next step of re-establishing/rebuild my credit. Would these Credit Repair programs help? Thanks

I have read they do nothing that you cannot do for free... I.e fighting bad credits.. Checking legalities of bad credit on your credit report... Google diy credit repair.

The best way is to just re-pay a couple of loans. I settled debt last year and my credit is back approaching 700. I'm paying a mortgage and car payment and, of course, no credit cards. It just takes time. The credit repair route doesn't work all that well. The goal is to dispute everything on your report but the Credit agencies can deem your letter frivilous and not even take action. Unfortunately the whole credit reporting structure is a scheme that is stacked against working people in favor of lenders. The best bet is really to just pay loans back - car loan, retail credit card etc. both are easy to get. Open it, pay it for a few months, pay it off, close it. Open something else and do the same. Befor you know it you'll be back in business 1 year you'll be in good shape; 2 years you're gtg.

Go there and read, read, read.
Been a member there for 2 years now. In a little over a year, my scores went from mid 500s (mistakes of youth) to mid 700s.
I've written many letters, making things that were supposed to stay on my reports fall off years early. There are a lot of tactics to employ, but you have to be patient. It takes time.
Many variables involved in a decent score, but right now you need to worry about the easiest ones. Check that site out and try for a few secured cards. Available credit plays a big role. So does utilization. Always try to keep utilization below 30%. And don't close them out. The age of positive accounts makes a difference too. Its a common misconception that you can have too many credit cards. I have about 10, and have about $50,000 in available credit. Just try to make sure that you apply for cards that you are almost positive you can obtain. Every (hard) inquiry a creditor makes on your reports is a temporary ding on your scores.

i got a guy who does it.. costs $500. and had a few buddies of mine use him and let me tell you too off everything.. buddy of mine went fromo high 5's to around 750.. my other buddy got a 150 K American express lean taken off his account.. pm me for more details and his number

generally credit repairs works as follows:

your report contains unfavorable credit entries e.g. late payments, writeoffs, etc.

the repair agency will send in a letter disputing the unfavorable entry.

the creditor reporting the unfavorable credit event has a certain number of days to respond and prove its claims. If they fail to do so, the credit agency is obligated to remove the unfavorable entry.

by flooding all your creditors month after month with disputes, they eventually slip up and and your report becomes cleaner.

Of course you can do this yourself for free, but it is time consuming and requires great organization.

slip up

Even if the credit reporting agency "slips up" it does not have to remove it permenatly.

You need to P/Off some loans and then over time it will get better. I good start is go to your bank and ask for a secured loan that reports on your credit. So for ex. Put 200 bucks in a savings account that the bank holds and you cannot take back out until your 200 dollar loan is repayed over a six month time frame. Do this on a couple of loans at the same time and that will greatly help your credit.
