learning tax credit.. from the new stimulus package.
In the past I would work, file a 1040 EZ by myself and just get a refund or pay the taxes depending on what it added up too.
However, I havent worked a job in the last one year, and have been a full time student. Now people are talking about this learning tax credit. Can i still apply for it? how do i go about doing that. Do I go about filling a normal tax return but put my income as zero.? and will it come in the form of a tax refund? Also most of my tuition I paid with student loans, will that matter?? Sorry really bad with finances. :-( |
