Need some honest feedback

Hey I need some feedback from you guys as I am trying to make a decision on the next step for myself. Maybe you guys can help. I am in finances and actually fairly new in it but lets say you dont know that.

Here is the question. If I started my own company with its own name vs say the business I am in now PRIMERICA (a company that gets good and bad press). What or who would you feel more comfortable working with?? In this economy Im sure the person makes all the difference in the world but how much does the name of the company mean to a person???

I think when it's all said and done, people like to work with people. It doesn't matter so much the company, although it can help having a recognized name behind you. That might be enough to get someone to stop and meet with you.

I guess it also depends on your product or service. Are you a financial planner or something along those lines? If so, I think there are still lots of successful people that are small one man shops with just their name as the company.

In doing business the company name means practically zilch....it's how the business treats it's customers (and pricing) that matters.

1) Do I have a need for what your business is offering?
2) can you give me more than your competitors?
3)what are your credentials?
I work in the medical field. If I where to have a surgery, that my life or my family's life depended on, I would want surgeon who had extensive experience.
Is it that much different with your money?
I'd say, stay where you are for a good many years and get a good solid foundation..then go it alone.
