pre-paid legal services/need opinions/experience

ok ladies and gentlemen i need your help in trying to figure out is it worth going into pre-paid legal services, its suppose to be your own business if you join the team, now my honest opinion i believe its network marketing where you would have to bring someone in in order to get paid and move up the ladder, this woman is telling me how great this opportunity is but something just dont feel right about it because she's trying to hard to get me to join, she claims she has made over 6thousand a month and how the ppl at the top are making six figures etc, what's your thoughts on this anyone?

im not sure but she says selling pre-paid legal services its her own business and it will be my own business, the service says u have to bring ppl in inorder to move up or get paid, she's claiming to sometimes make 6 grand a month but yet she's really sweating me to join her team which is the shaky part to me, i would have to pay a fee to join the team yet its suppose to be your own business

Been there, done that. Nope, bullshit. You have to put in serious hard work just like you would into building your own company from scratch. The only thing is, you don't need lots of capital to start.

Well this thread's a little old and I'm sure the OP has already said yes or no by now. I heard about this almost a decade ago and people tried to rope me in.
I don't know the exact legality of it...But, in my eyes it's a pyramid scheme and the only way they get away with it, is that they're 'selling a service'

First and foremost, It probably is not a good deal for you to either join or make it "your business".

With that said, I think this may have been one of the more "legit" MLM type companies. Its been around a long while. I know one individual who made a mint. He actually had an office next to mine and about 20 employees handling his business. He was doing presentations all over the country. I think he was by far the exception.

Like any business it is what you make of it and top people will succeed. I will offer, however, that if the time and effort that it takes to succeed in this business were applied to many other business the reward would be as great and you may enjoy it more.
