Problem with verizon

So i took out a trial Internet Data packet from Verizon wireless. They had a 30 day trial period during which I could return it, and would not be bound to a two year contract.

I returned it, and Verizon charged me a early termination fee of 190 dollars. I call the company up and talk to the lady who says they made a mistake and she tells me that she will credit the account.

2 months pass by and my account is now in collections. I call verizon up and they tell me that they cannot do nething about it now cause it is in collections. I asked them to look through my call history and they say that its true, that I called back two months ago and they were supposed to issue credit but they didnt. However since the bill is out of their hand now they cannot do anthing.

What the fuck?? what ma i supposed to do?

Verizon can easily stop the collection, it would be the same as any other bill or transaction that was invalid...You just need to continue harassing them and not wait another 2 months before contacting them again...If they know they can do it to you, they will.....

Use Certified mail when corresponding with VZ, Also Whenever you have them or any other collections person say this before the conversation begins

"My name is _____, to days date is _____, and your name is ____ this conversation is being recorded for documentation purposes" If anything the person on the other side of the phone will respect much more for showing some smarts, they will also think twice before trying to scheme you.
