Ever walk away from a big deal?

Ive been in negotiations for over 4 weeks. No weekends or nights off. Driving everywhere all day. Ive maxed out all of my financial, legal, family, ethical, physical and emotional resources. This deal had the potential to financially live one's dreams for the rest of their life in only a single year's work.

I had every qualification and ability to make it happen. It was up to me, my choice. I decided to listen to the people I love the most in my life. It came down to one single, little point out of a hundred. I win.

What little info you gave... It looks like a win-win situation. I just cant imagine a lifetime of finacial security having a negative impact in ones life. What changed after you expended all thoes recources? If you dont mind me asking...?
