whats the deal with Paypall

do you have to pay extra to send money or buy things with credit card over paypal?

I was under the impression paypall was kind of like Wester Union, or isn't it?

The seller incures a 3.5% fee. So you as the sender pay as normal, The opposite of W.U. where the sender pays the fees. It's the same with a credit card through paypal. The seller incures the fee.
