If you haven't done it yet, call Comcast and tell them you want the higher bandwidth internet access called "Blast" and mention that there is supposed to be a promotion for the first year where the upgrade doesn't cost extra.

I will have to check on that. Is it faster than broadband highspeed internet..?

It is cable high speed broad band internet, it is just an upgrade that they allow more bandwidth.
