Converting .rec files and FLV files to Itunes Format?

Anyone knows how to convert FLV vids to be compatible with Itunes software? I did a search online and a softwarew called ISquint was said to be good for that..

I also have a file in the Internet Audio Recording Format ( .ivr file type) . This is such an awesome track and I cant find it in any other format but this. Is that possible to be converted to Itunes?

Some of my MPEG's play in my Itunes Nano( 4 GB )but cant get audio period, just vid.. Dont know why.. Thanks alot !

i have used Xilisoft (do a google) to convert stuff for my cousins zune and a friends Ipod. I dunno specifically about the files you are asking for. I would suggest not using such proprietary file formats unless this is all you are able to download.

FLV files are regular youtube vid files when downloaded

i didnt realize thats what youtube used for compression. Ive seen flv files a few years ago when that compression first came about, it wasnt bad but you had to have a flv player etc.. and just wasnt worth the time to me.
Just came across this with a quick google search for you, converting flv using the ffmpeg codec.

I only did realsie it was FLV file format because the new REAL PLAYER software allows you the option to download youtube vid in flv format and play it easily which is really neat.. No need for a FLV player..

www.vcdhelp.com used to be usefull, havent used anything there in a while except dvd player reviews.
