Ipod syncing.....

Ok.....So that music i have on my Ipod is from someone else's Itunes...How do I keep all those songs and just add my own without having to sync it to my computer and have all the songs deleted that I have from his computer? thanks! -JuSTIN

I would say dont use itunes, EVER.
Ive used something called Anapod Explorer for years, never used itunes. It basically turns your ipod into an external drive, you can drag and drop your mp3's back and forth off it, create playlists, etc.. right through windows explorer.
If those songs were added with itunes, they are m4p files, they have an encryption layer and you may not ever be able to take them off and use them.

Connect your ipod, go to properties of it in itunes and there's an option known as automatically update your ipod. just uncheck that.

It'll never cause any problem after that, you can connect it to as many itunes as many you want.

I use a program called mediamonkey.

You can download a few programs that you install on a computer and you can take your music and put it on another.
Or, you can make your ipod an external device, if it allows it. And just put the files on there. And put them where ever.

Thanks guys! Lately, i've been using this program called Bittorrent to get all my music....and I can just drag and drop the songs straight to the ipod without syncing it! It's awesome!! -StOrY
