This update is only designed for the Motorola Qc but it does work successfully on the Q9M. This upgrade is a MAJOR refinement over Mobile 6.0 and has some really nice features. Much faster and WAY better in my opinion.
Download Rom from **broken link removed**
Download RSD Lite from **broken link removed**
1) backup all your info
2) master reset/clear your Q
3) make sure your Q is fully charged
4) make sure your USB cable is directly connected to your PC and not thru a hub
5) delete your activesync /wmdc partnership on your pc
6) install the rsd lite and have the upgrade file unzipped/ready to go puts the file in C:\Program Files\Motorola\Software Update\firmwares when you rund the q9c update install
7) reboot your pc
8) connect your Q
9) ignore activesync/wmdc when it tries to create a new sync relation
10) start rsd lite
11) let rsd lite see your phone
12) browse for the upgrade file via rsd lite(C:\Program Files\Motorola\Software Update\firmwares)
13) start the upgrade
