Hey guys just wondering if any of you are trying out the beta yet? What do ya guys think about it so far? I'm running it as my primary OS at home and can honestly say its a huge improvement over Vista. Its only a beta and its already more stable than Vista was at release(not saying much I know )

I never thought Id say it but I think I finally have an OS worth ditching XP Pro for

Im testing it under Linux in a virtual machine and it ran well on 384 RAM, Vista would not even start up on that amount of RAM.

I'd say that's quite a step up from Vista if your machine even runs with 384mb of RAM..

I've seen the beta for 7.. looks nice and purty now the new Terminal Services advancements for Longhorn are quite impressive.. Could basically drop Citrix and use that from what I've seen of it..

I finally found time at work to research some of the tehcnical changes made to Vista to produce 7. It is really stable and they didn't try to build everything including the kitchen sink into it. We have a few machines here running the beta in our test lab and it seems to be great. We are testing our applications against it and for applications (both web application and windows client) it performs on par with xp.
