Help with this damn flash player!!!

I need to take an online practice test and it says the following:

"Nearly all of our courses and tools also require Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Acrobat Reader."

Probem is when the screen comes up and says to click here to download the plugin I click on it and it says:

"The following applications need to be closed before the Adobe Flash Player Plug In can be installed

Chrome"

...so I dont know how to download it. Apparently google chrome is blocking it or somethin...which is good because i dont want viruses from Internet Explorer...but SHIT I cant take any of these tests and cant get the damn flash player to download..or work or whatever

...arggggghhhhhhhh so frustrated

As soon as I close chrome my damn computer freezes lol

I don't have an answer to fixing this flash issue with Chrome, but maybe try another browser.

I ran into an issue at work where a coworker couldn't get flash to work with IE8 with an external website he needed to go to. (We are supposed to use IE6 for work.) He already had Firefox installed so we used that - worked like a charm after installing the flash plug in for FireFox.

I'm only mention this since it looks like you are taking classes and may not have a great deal of time to try to figure it out.
