Yes it is much better than Vista as far as I am concerned. I don't think they really finished Vista, and Windows 7 is actually the finished product. They needed revenue from R&D of Vista so they pushed it out anyway. Oh well. I am using RTM as well.

I have the final RTM but am still running 7100 on THIS pc... soon to change. got -r dvds instead of +rs.. damn hp dvd drives!

i bought an asus g71 from best buy a little over a month ago. came out to 1266$. its an amazing computer. it has vista now, but almost every computer at best buy gives a free windows 7 upgrade. mine does atleast.

If you buy a dell it will come with an option to upgrade to 7.. as well all of those nerds today is the last day to get your beta version download. they wont make us buy it untill may i think of next year. I love 7.

buy a computer now with vista and they should offer a free upgrade from most places..
